ECS Project Objective – Real-World AWS Deployment Using Docker & ECS

(Work in Progress – 3 Videos Added, More Coming Soon)

This ECS project is designed to give you practical, hands-on experience in deploying containerized applications using AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS) with Docker. You’ll learn how to prepare your application, build Docker images, and deploy them in a serverless container environment using Fargate and Fargate Spot.

What’s Covered So Far (3 Videos):

  • ECS Project Step 1 – Create ECS Cluster
Understand how to set up an ECS cluster using AWS Console with Fargate and Fargate Spot capacity providers.
  • ECS Project Step 2 – Part 1: Build Docker Image for ECS
Learn how to containerize your application by writing a Dockerfile and building a Docker image.
  • ECS Project Step 3 – Part 2: Test Container Image for ECS
Test the Docker container locally before pushing it to ECR for ECS deployment.
